4. MAC-juxt...light grassy green. Good color for inner V of eye.
3. MAC- Humid...Dark shimmery green, Great crease color. Adds lots of pop
2. MAC- newly minted...nice matte medium green. Goes well with lots of other shades
1. MAC-springtime skipper (LE)...Such a lovely shade of light to med green with a flash of yellow to it.

Garnier brusher gel-cleanser skin renew
So, I have bought way too much stuff in the past few months and have decided to be a budget bitch. Need to find more ways to save money and still look fabulous. I love Garnier products. They work well, are nicely prcied and endorsed by SJP! How can a girl go wrong?
This is cool in the shower cause it's all one piece. It has soft little nubby things on the end to scrub your face with. Skin feels so smoth after washing, but it does not over do it and leave skin dry. You just need a tiny amount for this to work. What a great idea!

Free nail polish using Ulta points
OPI Ink. Really pretty dark purple/blue sparkle polish. I was sad that the Alice in Wonderland polishes were sold out and the new Hong Kong spring colors looked like a lot of polishes I already had. So...this is what I got. Best part, it was free! Used my Ulta points. You get 1 point for every 50 dollars you spend and the polishes are 2 points. I think will be an awesome toe color.

oops! forgot the quad I got! Colour 3
From the plum color story- Pink mink, brusied plum, black tulip and jungle moon.
What the new quads look like closed
Spring Colour Forecast
Really had to cut my list down for this MASSIVE collection. It's actually 4 collections in one. Consists of Pink, plum, coral and amber color stories. I really wanted a lot more, but it all really adds up and I spent more than I planned on as it is. I really like everything I got though and it's colors that I think are really wearable for work or play. There are a bunch of new collections coming out in the next few weeks from MAC, but I think this will be my main purchase. I think MAC puts out too many collections too close together and for junkies like me it's hard to keep up sometimes. I try to research the collections before they come out and then figure out what I want. I make a list and then go see the collection in person. There are usually good swatches of new collections on the web, but seeing in person and trying the color before you buy is always the best bet. I usually only online for things I need to refill or brushes and stuff since the closest MAC pro store is downtown Chicago. So let me know if you get anything from this collection and if you love it?!
Spring Colour Forecast Blush Ombre
Azale Blossom. These blushes are really pretty! Something new from MAC. They are tri-colored blushes that go from light to dark.
Ripe Peach
Spring Colour Forecast Eyeshadows
Left to right- Very Violet, LaLa, Straw Harvest, Rosy Out Look- All limited eddition items. The shadow in the pan is called DA BLING, it's part of this collection but not LE therefore was avalible in a pan (which is a lot cheaper and I don't have to depot it to put in my pallettes).

Finally!!! Every Glamour Girl needs a place to relax...
I have been looking high and low for a really long time for the perfect vanity for my bedroom. I just wanted something simple but had a lot of counter space. The drawers are large too so I can put a lot of items in there as well. I have some plastic drawer type things that I like so I think I will get some more to get everything nice and organized. I have makeup in a million little boxes and bins right now, so this will be a big project. But, when it's done I will finally have a nice place to sit and have axcess to all my stuff. I also got a chair that matches. Very simple, plain and black. I'm sure I will have to have my bestie Susie over to help be get things together. She is really good at all that stuff. I am just not an organized person, never have been! Will take some pictures when I get this all together.

The buried (in makeup) life... What do YOU want to DO before you DIE?
I love the new MTV show the buried life. If you have never seen it the show, it's about 4 friends who make a list of 100 things to do before they die. I think the opening is really cool. They say
If you only had one day to live what would you do? Would you climb a mountain, kiss the girl of your dreams, tell someone how you really feel? What if you had the rest of your life? Would you lose that drive or would your list get longer? What do you want to do before you die?
So... What do YOU want to do before you die?
Here's a few that would make my list:
Sail down the amazon river
Apply makeup to a famous person
Volunteer in a 3rd world country
Climb a really great tree with my son
See the Mona Lisa and weep
Learn to speak french
Get a great tan, just once
Ride a horse to the bottom of the grand canyon
Spend time in Alaska for both the 24 hours of sunshine and 24 hours of nightime
Design some scrubs that are actually sexy
Really have breakfast in front of Tiffany's
Get my closet really organized
Learn to play pool and be good at it
Collect an original Barbie Doll
Swim with dolphins in the open ocean
Learn to change a tire
Help a random stranger change a tire
Dress up as a Disney character in a parade
Thank every soldier I see and shake their hand
Go to makeup school
Learn more about my family tree and teach my kids
Build a really huge victorian mansion dollhouse
Shop in Paris
Learn to bake
Get drunk with Obama
What would you do? I want to see your list!

MAC Spring Colour Forecast: The Season's Hautest Hues
So excited about this collection!!! I am still picking over my list as I am into the 200.00 range right now and need to par down the list. So many beautiful pinks and purples. I really want to try some coral colors but I'm a kinda scared. I've never really looked very good in orangy type stuff. So go to Maccosmetics.com and tell me what you are going to order.

Mascara Review #8...
So I think this may be my Holy Grail Mascara! This product is just about perfect except for the price. It is pretty expensive at $24.50, but is by far the best of the mascaras I've reviewed, by a lot. It goes on super rich and creamy, a very dark, dark black. No clumps or big chucky globs at the end of the wand. The wand has a really wonderful brush that coats each lash and applies the perfect amount. No big spider lashes. No having to go back in with a lash comb to separate. I had no flaking with this product either, which seems to be a problem I've been having lately. I felt almost like I had on falsies my lashes looked so perfect. A big thumbs up on this one!

Mascara Review #7...
Benefit BAD GAL LASH
This is a much more expensive mascara than past reviews. This one goes for $18 and can be found at benefit stores (just 2 located downtown Chicago), Macy's and Sephora. The brush on this sucker is HUGE! I got it in black but also comes in brown, blue and I believe a purple. Very deep black color that really makes eyes pop. Goes on extremly smooth and coats every lash. Not clumpy or gloppy at all. For such a big brush I expected it to be messy and hard to reach inner lashes. Not the case at all. I found my eyes to look very dramatic without having to put very much on. Yes, expensive for mascara! But a fun splurge for very dramatic eyes.

Mascara Review #6...
Maybelline GREAT LASH
I haven't worn this stuff in a really long time. It was my holy grail mascara for years and years. I don't remember why I stopped using it. Anyway, picked it up at Ulta for $4.85! Great price! Decided to mix it up a bit and get it in royal blue. Blue mascara is really fun and makes the whites of your eyes look really white so you look bright eyed and bushy tailed. I like the way the wand is a brush and coats each eyelash. It goes on smoothly. It isn't very thick though. Took me a few coats to get it to look like I had mascara on. I would have liked it even thicker, but it would have started clumping and making me look like I have 3 big lashes if I put more coats on. This is a classic mascara and one I would use again. More for a day look. Not dramatic enough for me for night looks. I know that great lash has a big brush version now too. I may have to try that one. For the price I don't think you can really go wrong with this old school product.

Mascara Review #5...
Cover Girl LASH BLAST
I really like this mascara! Got it in very black. The brush is a soft plastic, more of a wand then a brush. It does a nice job of separating lashes and doesn't clump on the lash. I did make the mistake in the past of buying the waterproof mascara. I wouldn't recommend that unless you were going swimming or planning on breaking up with someone. The waterproof is too stiff and my lashes felt hard and almost sharp. Nearly impossable to remove it. The washable though, is just that. Comes off nice and easy. This isn't the best mascara I've ever used or anything, but for around $8.00 it is a good buy. Looked nice and went on smooth. No clumps or flakes. Thumbs up!

Mascara Review #4...
Maybelline's COLOSSAL MASCARA
Not very fond of this product. The brush looked nice and all. It's fluffy and long. Again this brand had a funky smell to the mascara. Maybe others like it and I'm just strange. The brush grabs a lot of the product but it's kind of a clumpy mess. Went on in chunky, choppy, clumpy mess. Was not evenly distributed on the lashes. Hard to get in inner and outter corners of my eye. Almost impossible to get lower lashes with the big brush and the clump of mascara stuck at the tip. Also, had the flaking issue again today. Was finshing up with patients today in the office and still had a lot of chart work to do. Was at work about 9 hours at this point and I looked down at a chart and saw black flakes! I realized that they were flaking off my lashes. The product does wash off easily. I was wondering if I would have better luck with a lash primmer underneath the mascara? It seems a bit much to do for a really inexpensive drugstore brand. Paid $5.98 at Ulta for this.

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol II
This pallette is really exciting to me because I didn't have any of these colors already and has 7 new shades that are only available in this pallette. All shimmer and glitter colors- my favorite! So much pigmentation to these shadows. Also comes with 2 eyeliners, a black that I love and use daily, and a pretty brown. Also comes with a mini primer potion for under the shadows. Helps the shadows look vibrant and keeps them from creasing and wearing off. This was purchased at Ulta but is also at Sephora. I think a great price at $48 for all you get. Urban decay rivals MAC shadows for pigmentation and blending ability. The colors are fun and bright. Much better shimmer than the MAC satin shadows. These are really unique colors that contrast each other but somehow also blend together nicely. A definate must for any glamor girl!
Mascara Review #3...
L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion
The idea of this mascara brush looked interesting. A round brush with spikes all round. Very black color. This worked really well getting in the corners of the my eye, on those itty bitty little lashes. Also worked well geting the topside of my lashes. I have the most difficult time getting the tops with a big long brush, gets all over my lid and gets smeary. Since I usually have a lot of fallout from eyeshadows the tops of my lashes don't have good mascara coverage. This does the trick! Stayed put all day, no flakes. Washed off well. Really, really liked this product. Was a bit pricey for drugstore mascara at about $9.00. L'Oreal is on the highend for drugstore brands. This was worth the money for sure.

Mascara Review #2...
L'Oreal voluminous curved brush
Wore the L'oreal voluminous mascara on new years eye. I was going to wear false eyelashes, which I usually do when I go out, but didn't need to. I love the curved brush! Gets all the lashes. Very nice dark black color, not tarry or sticky. No funny smell. Made my lashes look 10 times bigger at least. Stayed on all night with no problems, no smears or flakes. Also, big plus for me, came off really easy with remover. No scrubbing at all. Loved this mascasara!!! Great price for such a lush mascara. Reg price is 6.99 but on sale for about 4.99 at Ulta right now. Available at drugstores. Will rebuy for sure.

Mascara Review #1...
Maybelline LASH STILETTO
This has an average size brush, and went on very smooth. It has a kind of funky smell, but nothing bad or horrible. The color is a nice dark black. I got the regular and not the waterproof, as I'm not a fan of scrubbing at my lashes at night to get mascara off. The lashes looked fine, nothing extraordinary. Looked like regular made up lashes. It wore ok for most of the day but then toward the end of my night it started flaking really bad. Like, really bad. It was in black flakey bits all over my face and got in my eyes. Thought maybe It was just a long day or something and tryed again the next day...same problem. So, I'd have to say, this is not my holy grail mascara. The package is so cute and looks like the heal to a stiletto and is black and shiney red. The price is great at like 6 bucks or something. With coupons less. So, I won't buy this again. The search continues...
