Mascara Review #6...
Maybelline GREAT LASH
I haven't worn this stuff in a really long time. It was my holy grail mascara for years and years. I don't remember why I stopped using it. Anyway, picked it up at Ulta for $4.85! Great price! Decided to mix it up a bit and get it in royal blue. Blue mascara is really fun and makes the whites of your eyes look really white so you look bright eyed and bushy tailed. I like the way the wand is a brush and coats each eyelash. It goes on smoothly. It isn't very thick though. Took me a few coats to get it to look like I had mascara on. I would have liked it even thicker, but it would have started clumping and making me look like I have 3 big lashes if I put more coats on. This is a classic mascara and one I would use again. More for a day look. Not dramatic enough for me for night looks. I know that great lash has a big brush version now too. I may have to try that one. For the price I don't think you can really go wrong with this old school product.

Mascara Review #4...
Maybelline's COLOSSAL MASCARA
Not very fond of this product. The brush looked nice and all. It's fluffy and long. Again this brand had a funky smell to the mascara. Maybe others like it and I'm just strange. The brush grabs a lot of the product but it's kind of a clumpy mess. Went on in chunky, choppy, clumpy mess. Was not evenly distributed on the lashes. Hard to get in inner and outter corners of my eye. Almost impossible to get lower lashes with the big brush and the clump of mascara stuck at the tip. Also, had the flaking issue again today. Was finshing up with patients today in the office and still had a lot of chart work to do. Was at work about 9 hours at this point and I looked down at a chart and saw black flakes! I realized that they were flaking off my lashes. The product does wash off easily. I was wondering if I would have better luck with a lash primmer underneath the mascara? It seems a bit much to do for a really inexpensive drugstore brand. Paid $5.98 at Ulta for this.

Mascara Review #1...
Maybelline LASH STILETTO
This has an average size brush, and went on very smooth. It has a kind of funky smell, but nothing bad or horrible. The color is a nice dark black. I got the regular and not the waterproof, as I'm not a fan of scrubbing at my lashes at night to get mascara off. The lashes looked fine, nothing extraordinary. Looked like regular made up lashes. It wore ok for most of the day but then toward the end of my night it started flaking really bad. Like, really bad. It was in black flakey bits all over my face and got in my eyes. Thought maybe It was just a long day or something and tryed again the next day...same problem. So, I'd have to say, this is not my holy grail mascara. The package is so cute and looks like the heal to a stiletto and is black and shiney red. The price is great at like 6 bucks or something. With coupons less. So, I won't buy this again. The search continues...
