New smudger brush

I just got this from the brunette blonde redhead collection. I like it because it's a bit bigger and stiffer than the 228 which I use a lot for smudging around eyes and detail work in inner V of eye. I can get alot more product on this brush and it's really good at getting that smokey eye effect.

coastal scents!

Was a bit unsure of this company. I know that the palettes are all over the web and lots of girls do videos with these, but I also know that they are sent these for free and that can sometimes skew a makeup review. So for 22.00 I thought what the hell and ordered the original one and some gel liners that looked pretty. I was really pleasantly surprised that the shadows ARE very good quality and the liners and just as good as the M-A-C fluidline. The downside is the size of each shadow is small, but enough to play with. The liners are on the smaller size too but are less than half the price of M-A-C. The colors blend really really nicely and are highly pigmented. For the price, you can't go wrong. these is a great palette for a beginner or someone not sure if they want to bright colors and just want to play.

Waiting for FEB 12- Hello Kitty!

Very excited about this collection! Colors are some repromotes of LE shadows but the packaging is really cute and there is so much hype about this that I even took the morning off work to make sure I can get my hands on what I want. Nothing sadder than being told something is sold out. I have heard some negitivity about the shadows being chalky and not a lot of color payoff, but I can't tell until I see it in person and swatch it myself. Will post whatever I buy for sure!

Christmas Lemmings in October

Not a huge "red" fan, but there are still a couple of really cute things from the holiday collection that I'm dying to get my hands on...

Eye Brushes from holiday collection
Have most of these in long handle but love the cute red handles!

Inter- view shadow

Mineralize Eye Shadow (Trio), Inter-view Shade description: Frosty deep navy/copper pearl stripe/frosty bronzy brown (Frost)

Threesome eyeshadow

Every day makeup items I can't live without

Tweezerman tweezers

Ok, I can't always get threaded due to time and pain tolerance. These are BY FAR the best tweezers ever made.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

You must, must, must always wear a primer under your shadows. It makes the colors look the way they do in the pan, AND keeps color all day with no creasing. This primer is one of the best I've found. It's best for lighter color shadows. I've never had creasing when using this.

Nars orgasm blush

Gives a rosey blush and really does look like you just had a big O! Blends really nice and looks beautiful with most skin tones. I'm really pale and this looks so soft and no harsh lines (yuck!)

benefit eye bright

softens under the eye and hides all sorts of dark circles and bags

MAC hyper real liquid foundation

This is such a new foundation, looks natural but adds a little "glow" to the skin. so pretty

MAC Fluidliner in Blacktrack
Stila kitten eye shadow - this is a great shadow. you can wear it for everyday or mix it up with most other colors. It gives just the right amount of sparkle and plays up all eye colors. Love it!

Haven't Blogged in a while

Haven't been blogging in a while. Lots of stuff went on. Like 20 year high school reunion. This blog is mostly dedicated to the things I love most, so had to add news about reunion. The people I love most were there! Had a blast and have really re-connected with the people that know me best from before my diva days (ok, I was probably always a diva)!

WTF??? involves a locksmith

Went to court with BFF and ignition key broke off in door- how was I suppost to know which key is which? I guess you cannot have camera phones in court and we needed to put ours back in the car. She handed me the keys and i ran back to car to put phones in. I only have one car key that opens door and starts car, she doesn't. Key broke in two pieces. Yikes- now what? Put phones on the wheel well of her car and prayed no one would see them and went back inside. After like 2 hours in court, we had to get a locksmith. $184 later she drove off.

flooding!!!

blah! The streets are completely flooded and we can't get to the mall. We will need to find some indoor things to do. Mike went tubing in the flooded streets with friends. He will come home a muddy mess. Nice. Drama from woodstock. My BFF is having husband problems. Wish she could move back to CS. Too far to help each other on a daily basis like the old days. This rain sucks!!!
